HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR THE INSPECTION AND REPORT?

Every home is different and the inspection can take from 2 hours to 4 hours or more. This all depends on the size of the home, condition of the home, difficiency found, how many pictures are taken, red flags that are further looked into and investigated, answering question for the client, and making sure the client understands the information that is given at the inspection.

All of your information that is gathered from your inspection is then taken back to the office. A report is then generated incorperating pictures of deficiencies. The pictures are idendified with the problem, the location is given, and direction is given.

This is a narrative report and takes from 2 1/2 to 4 hours to complete.
Some inspectors give you a check list report on the spot.
Some inspectors print a report from their PC.

If your home takes 3 hours. To inspect and 3 1/2 hrs. For the report, considering travel time of one hour. That equals a 7 1/2 hour day and sometimes more.

So the answer to the question "how long does it take for the inspection and report?" is from 7 to 8 hours and is complete the next morning.
