The inspection is conducted in accordance withNEW JERSEY STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS – NEW JERSEY STANDARDS OF PRACTICE – AMERICAN SOCIETY OF HOME INSPECTORS STANDERDS AND ETHICS – and is for the purpose of identifying major deficiencies so you may evaluate the overall condition of the home which might affect your decision to purchase. The report you receive will be a summary of that information.

You are urged to accompany the inspector during the examination of the home. Your inspector will discuss many components of the home. Although minor problems may be mentioned, the report does not attempt to list them all. Now is the time to ask questions. The information you gain from this will be of great value to you.

YOU WILL RECEIVE THREE SEPARATE REPORTS
    1. THE HOME INSPECTION REPORT
    2. THE WOOD DESTROYING INSECT REPORT
    3. THE RADON REPORT

1. THE HOME INSPECTION REPORT Alert home inspections creates a narrative report with pictures that address problem areas. The report is confidential and will be provided to you in a timely manner so you can evaluate the overall condition of the property without delay.

2. THE WOOD DESTROYING INSECT REPORT  The W.D.I. (termite) report will have the results of the findings performed by a new jersey certified inspector and will be mailed to you in a timely manner.

3. THE RADON REPORT The radon report will be conducted adhearing to all requirements set forth by D.E.P. (Dept. of Environmental Protection) in respect to proper radon testing performed by a New Jersey certified radon measurment technician.
Average time for results is 7-10 days.
